Dinner and a show
The theatre of dining
A short stroll or speedy taxi ride from many of London’s best-loved theatres, The Goring is the place for a pre-theatre dinner done properly: seasonal British cooking, polished service and a calm start to the evening. Served in The Dining Room, our Pre-Theatre Menu lets Chef Graham and his team leave their mark before the curtain rises.

Signature dishes at The Goring
Pleasingly well-fed
Dinner and a show is all very well, but it needs to be done right. Tucked away in Belgravia and just a short stroll from the theatres around Victoria, The Goring offers a pre-theatre menu for those who prefer elevated cuisine, quiet charm and a glass of something cheering, to set the mood for the evening to come.
In The Dining Room, Chef Graham and his team have created a menu that’s reassuringly classic and ideal for a speedy supper. From Hampshire watercress velouté to dry aged Aylesbury duck and a chocolate mousse cake, this is pre-theatre dining with good manners and a twinkle in its eye. Best of all, you can enjoy the sense of occasion for which The Goring is known and still be in your seat before the overture begins. Which is really how these things should be done.
‘Landmark’ is an overused adjective. But not when describing this infinitely-reassuring and long-cherished bolthole.
