Private Dining at The Goring

Unique to you

From intimate dinners to boisterous celebrations, private dining at The Goring is both exceptional and entirely bespoke to you. Our expert team delivers tailor-made events in spaces large or small, complete with seamless service and Michelin-starred menus.

The Garden Room

Glamour and greenery

Flooded with light and taking in views across our meticulously kept lawn, The Garden Room is the largest of The Goring’s private spaces. The sliding glass wall in the conservatory area can be opened onto the private sunken garden during the warmer months, while full AV support for screens or projectors makes The Garden Room a sensational spot for parties and weddings.

The Drawing Room

Classic English comfort

With walls painted and woven in silk by hand, The Drawing Room encapsulates the essence of a grand English home. Pristine silverware and personalised menus accompany the option of black-out curtains and a large plasma screen concealed behind an elegant mirror. A beautiful and relaxed space that hosts up to 12 guests.

The Silver Room

A Churchillian favourite

Often used by Winston Churchill for briefings with allied leaders during the Second World War, the sumptuously hand-woven silk walls of The Silver Room are steeped in history. Beneath the Edwardian chandelier is an antique dining table seating up to eight guests, making this an excellent location for meetings and working lunches.

The Boardroom

A private function

Tucked discreetly away on the fourth floor, The Boardroom combines classic interiors and contemporary bells and whistles. Patrician leather chairs and state-of-the-art technology are accompanied by impeccable service to ensure all business meetings are conducted in style.

It’s one of the closest hotels to Buckingham Palace and has entertained every serving PM since it opened; Winston Churchill held meetings with Allied leaders here during the Second World War.
