The Stein family was back at The Goring this summer for a week of seafood brilliance. 

A rather exciting event took place at The Goring this June – the Stein family popped back to Belgravia for a week of seafood brilliance.

Having been unable to travel to our treasured Cornwall for what feels like an eternity, we were delighted to bring a taste of the Cornish coast to Belgravia for a fabulous fish and seafood pop-up party. 

Think copious amounts of exquisite, Cornish fish and seafood, all made the classic Rick Stein way. We had a whole week of this seafood perfection. The menu was a feast for the eyes. Sumptuous fruits de mer were served on ice with everything from mussels, crab, langoustines, winkles, clams, cockles, whelks, oysters, scallops and razor clams. The old favourites were there too: Dover Sole Meunière and Indonesian Seafood Curry, plus a star appearance from The Goring’s Lobster Omelette!

As the sun shone over The Goring Garden, it was quite simply the perfect way to enjoy Cornwall - a fabulous summer seafood celebration. Mr Stein, same time next year?
