Children at The Goring
It is only right that The Goring, London's only five red star hotel in family ownership for nearly a century, should be a special destination for families.
We have always taken great care of all our guests, even the very young, so we are delighted extend our children's programme that makes the stay even more memorable for our V.I. (little) P.s!

  • On arrival at The Goring new parents have been delighted to receive the waiting basket of essentials to help with babies; lotions, potions, changing mats and sacks, bath toys and bath mats - all the things you either forgot to pack or didn’t have room for!
  • The Goring Bedtime Story Library - where our young guests may select books from a delightful collection of tales, short stories and picture books, old favourites and modern classics.
  • The great treat awaiting children when they arrive is the gift bag on their pillow with a cuddly Baaaa-bara sheep and their personal "For Kids Eyes Only" pack.  The pack includes an activity book and colouring crayons and a Goring Passport, to help keep a record of their trip and collect stamps from different areas of the hotel,
  • Children are invited to visit the kitchen, don apron and chef's hat and decorate cakes or cookies (leaving Mum and Dad to relax and enjoy some time together, but alone, over Afternoon Tea!).
