The Dining Room
Michelin-starred menus and mischievous monkeys
It is inconceivable to sit in a room where the walls are covered in monkeys gaily drinking Champagne or bursting out of cakes and not have a sensational time. Michelin-starred menus have elevated classic British dishes to the sublime, giving star status to the season’s most glorious ingredients. A playground in which our chefs do nothing short of show off.

Executive Chef Graham Squire
He’s extremely good at cooking
It says everything you need to know about Graham that he cut his teeth in the Michelin-starred kitchens of Claridge’s and Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons. His fondness for creating dishes of excellence is matched only by his love of seasonal produce sourced from British farmers and suppliers.
Formerly the Head Chef of Michelin-starred Trinity and The Lickford Inn in West Sussex, Graham has been heading up The Goring’s Michelin-starred Dining Room since 2019.

Signature dishes at The Goring
When in doubt, add caviar
Take a seat in the Dining Room, and you’ll soon catch whispers of lobster, caviar, quail’s eggs, oh my! Our most requested dish, Eggs Drumkilbo – yes, it was HRM the Queen Mum's favourite – is still as beloved as ever. The Goring Native Lobster Omelette also has an almost obsessive following, and if we ever run out of our dry-aged Aylesbury duck, the streets will riot.
Dining vouchers
A most delicious present
Some gifts say it with flowers. Ours say it with Champagne. A Dining Room voucher is the perfect way to share a taste of Michelin-starred magic, whether for a cosy dinner à deux or a celebratory gathering for four. Expect Champagne to start, fine wine to flow and a three-course menu in the hands of chefs who take great delight in showing off. Ideal for birthdays, anniversaries or simply spoiling someone rotten.
This is what sets The Goring apart, the gleeful imagination and fabulous sense of fun that make this family-run hotel such a national treasure.
