Events

Unique to you

For over a century, The Goring has played host to the great and good of London. From business meetings to private dinners and drinks receptions, every event becomes a special occasion at The Goring. As for weddings? Let’s just say you’ll be in good company.

Weddings

Made to measure

Imagine exchanging vows surrounded by your favourite flowers, kicking off your shoes after a night of dancing, then waking to breakfast in bed in one of our luxurious Suites. We’re honoured to have been part of so many special days – including royal ones – and can’t wait to make yours just as memorable and stress-free.

Meeting rooms

Not all work, no play

Serious discussions deserve a touch of Goring flair. From boardroom brainstorming sessions to working lunches that are a little too good to call work, our meeting rooms offer quiet discretion and all the tech you need to keep the ideas flowing.

  • Private parties

    Dial up the delight

Raucous suppers, extravagant balls, intimate soirées… From the moment your guests arrive to the final toast, we bring together the perfect blend of elegance, indulgence and impeccable service, always with the goal of delighting our guests.

  • Impeccable service

    It's what we do best

From topping up glasses at just the right moment to magically anticipating what you’ll need next, our team strives for excellence, always. It’s why The Goring feels less like a hotel and more like home – if home came with five-star service.

  • Private rooms

    English charm and elegance

Each of our private rooms has its own distinct personality, from the light-flooded Garden Room with its retractable glass walls to the historic Silver Room, once graced by Winston Churchill himself.

  • Our menus

    Another reason to celebrate

From delightful platters of bite-sized English breakfast favourites to elegant canapés such as our Lobster Thermidor tartlet – at The Goring, even the nibbles deserve a round of applause.

Technology

Now that's smart

Black-out curtains? Of course. Hidden plasma screens? Naturally. AV support? Absolutely. Discover each room’s clever features – and be sure to let our team know if you need anything else.

It’s one of the closest hotels to Buckingham Palace and has entertained every serving Prime Minister since it opened; Winston Churchill held meetings with Allied leaders here during the Second World War.
